Welcome

With over 20 years of horse training experience, I strive to help all types of horse owners with their horses to foster a strong and dependable relationship. My training program focuses on building confidence, collection, softness, and balance, while redirecting issues such as head tossing, bucking, spooking, rearing, and bolting. My focus on positive reinforcement and redirection can help your horse become the reliable partner you need him to be so you can excel in any direction. Starting horses under saddle is my specialty, helping problem horses is my passion.

Consultation

If you are unsure if you should consider putting your horse into a training program, I'd love to meet with you and your horse so we can discuss your goals and I can offer some insight as to how much training your horse may be in need of.

One hour allows me to get a feel for your horse's personality and discuss both of your needs so we can develop a plan together.

If you would like to schedule a consultation, either on phone or in person please fill out the below form.

1 Month Training

1 month of training includes a guaranteed minimum of 20 training sessions, as well as board, hay, grain, and supplements. I provide updates weekly including photos, videos, and training logs.

4 Months Training

One month of training is not sufficient in most cases. The first month of training involves mostly what I call, "learning how to learn."

For fresh colts needing started and problem horses, I highly recommend 4 month of training. They are much more likely to retain what they learned long-term with 4 months of training than with one.

About Me

Amy Sigl, Horse Trainer

I have been riding since I could walk and training horses since I was about 11. I absolutely love helping horses and their riders, especially when issues such as head tossing, bucking, rearing, spooking, and bolting have resulted in a loss of confidence and prevents a horse owner from enjoying their horse as much as they could be.

My training program has its foundation in building confidence, facilitating collection and balance, stress coping skills, and non-reactive response.

My methods are based on what I have learned different trainers and mentors I have had, which I change as needed for each individual horse.

I keep daily logs of all the horses I am training and take weekly videos and pictures to send to each client so they can see their horse's progress. This eases anxieties many horse owners have about how much their horse is actually being worked with during the time they are with a trainer.

Professional training makes a tremendous difference in the value of a horse and my goal is always to return a horse home more valuable to his owner than when he was dropped off.
