Training Includes:

My goal is to always give every client the peace of mind that their horse is being well taken care of, worked consistently, and will go home a better horse than came to me.

I keep daily training logs on all horses in training and report to each client weekly with pictures, a video, and logs. I invite every client to reach out as often as they would like to check in on their horse or inquire on their progress.

Horses are worked 5 days a week, 45-60 minutes per training session.

Horses in training during the warm months of the year will go on rides down the canal bank or haul to trail rides, depending on how ready they are.

Horses in training during the winter will primarily be worked in the indoor arena and will ride out when weather permits. I try to find clinics and small shows to haul to to help them get some exposure and trailering experience.

Training fee includes board, hay(either grass or alfalfa depending on what diet you prefer), Nutrena ProForce Fuel fed daily as well as a digestive supplement to help them maintain good health during the stresses of training.

2 one hour lessons are free of charge for each month your horse is in training so the transition for the horse from trainer to owner is cohesive. 30 minutes will be me demonstrating, 30 minutes will be owner riding with instruction. Not required, but encouraged.

Horses in training for 2 months or more will need trimming/shoes(depending on the horse), I have a farrier that came highly recommended (Cole Lewis) that comes on a 6 week schedule, which is preferable for all horses in training to maintain soundness. This is not included in sales price and is an additional $150/set of shoes.

Training Requirements:

-Shoes or trim(if horse is kept barefoot) within last 4 weeks, or will otherwise be added to my farrier schedule at an additional fee ($150 for shoes).

-Dewormed within 2 months, owner to provide dewormer if not.

-Dental exam/float within 6 months. Teeth issues are a major cause of training issues!

-Boarding agreement signed for Kent Stables(where I board at).

-Training agreement signed (will be available to view online soon!)

-Waiver and release of liability signed.
